太陽升起
使天空歡喜
鐘聲歡鳴
將春天歡迎
雲雀和鶼鳥
灌木林中的小鳥
到處高聲唱
和著歡欣的鐘鳴
我們就開始遊戲
在那迴音草坪
滿頭白髮的老約翰
無憂無慮地笑著
坐在橡樹下面
坐在老人們中間
他們笑我們嬉鬧
不久他們都說道
這樣 這樣作樂還是
當我們全都年紀輕輕
還是孩子時幹的事
在這迴音草坪
直到小傢伙們倦了
再也提不起興致
太陽也落山了
遊戲才跟著完事
媽媽們的群兜周圍
圍滿了兄弟姐妹
像鳥兒回到了窩裡
即將進入夢境
看不到還有人遊戲
在那漸黑的草坪
