小王子穿過沙漠。他只見過一朵花，一個有著三枚花瓣的花朵，一朵很不起眼的小花……
「你好。」小王子說。
「你好。」花說。
「人在什麼地方？」小王子有禮貌地問道。
有一天，花曾看見一支駱駝商隊走過：
「人嗎？我想大約有六七個人，幾年前，我瞅見過他們。可是，從來不知道到什麼地方去找他們。風吹著他們到處跑。他們沒有根，這對他們來說是很不方便的。」
「再見了。」小王子說。
「再見。」花說。
[ Chapter 18 ] - the little prince goes looking for men as a flower
The little prince crossed the desert a with only one flower. It was a flower with three petals, a flower of no at at all.
"Good m," said the little prince.
"Good m," said the flower.
"Where are the men?" the little prince asked, politely.
The flower had once seen a caravan passing.
"Men?" she echoed. "I think there are six or seven of them ience. I saw them, several years ago. But one never knows where to find them. The wind blows them away. They have no roots, and that makes their life very difficult."
"Goodbye," said the little prince.
"Goodbye," said the flower.
